The Oxygen Ponies have been have been named to Hits in the Car's Best Albums of 2006 list. The only other American band named to the list was Band of Horses. Is there a theme here?

25th

The Oxygen Ponies have been given an honorable mention nod on Raindog's Rants Best Albums of 2006 list. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I'd be mentioned on a list with Bob Dylan, Joseph Arthur, The Flaming Lips, Robert Pollard, Joanna Newsome, Mark Kozelek and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Join The Oxygen Ponies for some holiday cheer at Rockwood Music Hall at 10pm. Dave Eggar will be making his Oxygen Ponies debut on the cello as will Brnadon Wilde on the bass. Should be a fun evening.

November

Join The Oxygen Ponies for their intimate, solo acoustic CD release come down show at Pete's Candy Store in Williamsburg at 9 pm.

Join The Oxygen Ponies as they celebrate the release of their debut CD at The Living Room in NYC at 10:30 pm. We'll be sharing the bill with my good friend David LK Murphy in what promises to be a very special evening!

Just found out The Oxygen Ponies will be in Magnet #74 First Exposure!

25th

We’re back on the charts at WLRZ with a new peak at #14! We also saw a debut at KSLU, a great station in St. Louis, MO, were we rocked the #30 spot. New stations on board with the album this week include KDWG, WOUB, WVYC, KRCX, and WGBK, just to name a few. To date, there are roughly 108 stations who have made the album available for play with about half of those stations reporting light or better airplay.

18th

Some really solid numbers this week, we picked up a new station this week! WKRK, a station which covers all of Detroit debuted us at #22! The station is actually a commercial talk station which broadcasts college music atnight and reports to CMJ. We're also #22 at M3 Radio and we moved up atWPPJ from #19 up to #14. New adds in this week from WMTS, WCFM, WGTB, WIDB, WSVA, and WOBN to name a few. So far we've been added at 84 stations!

11th

Great news! We hit the charts at 5 stations this week. We're #19 at WPPJ in Pittsburgh this week, #20 at WSBF in SC and WVAU in Washington DC, #24 at M3Radio in NY, and #25 at WLRZ. We're getting medium rotation spins from WMHB, WMUL, WSKB and KSOC. New adds are in this week from WNEK, WMSC, WWPV, WSYC, and WTBU this week. So far we've been added at 54 stations!

Konrad and Len came in and laid down some killer bass and drums. Later that night Matt Horn stopped by and added clarinet to three tracks. Excited for you all to hear how this is shaping up.
